Home to state-of-the-art audiovisual transfer equipment and software, the IS Media Preservation Lab is where Information Studies students learn to identify, inspect, digitize, describe, preserve, and provide access to a wide variety of analog media formats. The Media Preservation Lab fosters a spirit of communal learning, mutual support, and appreciation for the media archival professions.

The IS Media Preservation Lab is available for IS student use for individual and group work.

• Schedule up to 3-hours of back-to-back appointments per workstation per day
• Lab staff are available to assist you as needed during your reservation time
